Please fill out and return the required application form. You can save the form using the File menu of your web browser and fill in the information using your word processor. This form includes all information required for applying to use UW facilities at Big Beef Creek. Independent investigators who have not received their doctorates should also submit a letter of support from a person who can testify to their ability to carry out their proposed research work.
The recommended application deadline for Spring or Summer Quarter research is February 1.
However, applications will be accepted at any time and accommodated on a space-available basis.
The University of Washington requires all researchers who will be conducting research on fishes or other vertebrates at Big Beef Creek to submit a Project Review Form to the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of the University of Washington (ref. Grants Information Memorandum 27 and University Handbook Chapter 3). It is the responsibility of the individual investigator to obtain, and maintain, their approval via the IACUC office.
